A fine day of the week, tuesday. The day prior to Wednesday and previous to Monday. The day when you really think, "When is it going to be Friday?" Mondays are fine, but Tuesdays really give you that sense of how far away the end of the week is going to be.
Tuesday is the second day of creation, in biblical times, and the day where God separated the waters from land to make the ocean. Tuesday is affiliated with a restaurant and red priceless gemstones (Ruby Tuesdays), and a furniture store that opens early (Tuesday Morning). Tuesday gained it's origin from the Norse god of War, known as Teiwaz.
Black Tuesday, which was October 29th, 1929 when the stock market crashed. Super Tuesday is the day when the presidential elections take place. A lot of DVDs, video games, and CDs release on Tuesdays, and a lot of television shows find their time slots on a tuesday evening. We all know it's one of the worst days of the week, but we try to spruce it up so it's not as bad as it has to be.
